Hunting Testimonials

Hi Glen,

Words can't describe my first experience in the CO back country. It was more than I could have imagined and I'm very pleased with the entire experience. This trip might be the first hunt that I felt like, in spite of not filling my tag, I achieved a great deal of success with four bulls in bow range on my first elk hunt. Not bad for a N.C. boy on his first try. I learned a lot from you guys and I learned a lot just from my "hunt 'em like they're turkeys" strategy, and I can't help but to think that if I had a couple more days my tag would be wrapped around a set of antlers instead of in my pocket. The food! what can I say, my wife is a great cook but I might bring her with me next year so Andy can give her a few pointers! I knew when I booked this trip I was going to like this elk hunting stuff and boy was I right! Of course, having 7-8 bulls bugling, fighting and "showing out" in front of me all day long, didn't hurt either. I don't mind having to "earn my stripes" so to speak. If it was easy I don't think it would mean as much when I finally do kill my first bull and Lord willing, I'm going to do my best to make it happen some day. Thanks again and I will see ya next September, (even if I have to come by myself)!

I made it home ok and it was a smooth trip back. As I said earlier, I was very impressed with your outfit, the accommodations, food, the arrangements, the game, the opportunities, and most of all your company as guide and companion for a week. It is clear that you know area and how the animals will react. I have been on several hunts in co, wy, and nm. Your hunt registers as one of the best regardless if I scored or not. It was the thrill of being that close to many great bull elk ( and I do mean big!), the set ups, the bugling , was as good as a kill. As I said, it was well worth the price of admission, I was impressed beyond my expectations. So thank you and yes sign me up for at least 2 for the muzzleloader hunt next year. I am in!
Thanks again
